Nature Hill Intermediate School Players bring L. Frank Baum’s classic novel to life on the OAC’s Main Stage in The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition. Young Dorothy Gale is swept away by a tornado from her family’s farm in Kansas to the magical land of Oz. During this musical production, she encounters a host of whimsical characters and makes new friends as she journeys along the Yellow Brick Road to seek help from the mysterious and ‘all-powerful’ Wizard in Emerald City. Along the way, she must also deal with the Wicked Witch of the West, who will stop at nothing to get her hands on Dorothy’s magical ruby slippers. Join the NHI Players as they celebrate the 85th anniversary of the first movie screening of The Wizard of Oz at the Strand Theater in Oconomowoc on Aug. 12, 1939, and remind us that there truly is “no place like home!”

Tickets: $12 Regular (20 and older) | $10 Group (10 or more) | $10 Youth (19 and younger)
