The course of true love never did run smooth. One of William Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies, A Midsummer Night's Dream weaves a tale about two couples, Hermia and Lysander, and Helena and Demetrius, who run away from Athens only to get lost in the forest. Trouble and misunderstanding ensue as the mischievous sprite Puck uses magic to tangle their romance through the whims of Oberon and Titania, the king and queen of the fairies. The four run through the forest pursuing each other while Puck helps his master play a trick on the fairy queen. In the end, Puck reverses the enchantment, and the two couples reconcile and marry. The OHS Players are sure to engage their own special magic as they explore the capricious, dream-like, and sometimes ridiculous nature of love in Shakespeare’s lighthearted romp through a medieval forest.
Group tickets can be purchased IN PERSON or OVER THE PHONE, 262-560-3172. Tickets may be added to your order later, subject to availability. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WITH GROUP TICKET ORDERS.
